Megan Motto
Chief Executive

Prior to joining Governance Institute, Megan was the CEO of Consult Australia. Megan is currently a Director of Standards Australia and a Director and Chair of the NSW State Advisory Council for the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA).

In addition to her double teaching degree (BABEd) and Masters in Communication Management, Megan is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Justice of the Peace.

Meegan George FGIA
Chief Operations Officer

Meegan’s experience extends over more than 20 years’ of international involvement in global custody, financial planning, insurance and superannuation. Her skills include strategic planning, financial management, people leadership, change management, consultancy, sales, product development, relationship management, adult education and client service management.

Meegan holds a BA of Commerce, from the University of Canberra, a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training and a Graduate Conversion Course in Accounting from University of Technology, Sydney.

Leon CoxConnect

Leon Cox
General Manager, Membership
State Manager, VIC

Prior to joining Governance Institute, Leon was Advisor to the CEO at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. His previous roles have been with CPA Australia and the RACV Club.

Leon holds a Bachelor of Business, Human Resources and Hospitality Management from Victoria University. Leon also holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment from the University of Melbourne, Training Services Department.

Rachel WaterhouseConnect

Rachel Waterhouse GIA(Affiliated)
General Manager, Engagement

Rachel’s team is responsible for Governance Institute’s engagement strategy with members, subscribers and customers. This includes achieving membership, marketing, media, digital strategy, and publishing objectives.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Newcastle and is a graduate of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Executive from The Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of NSW Business School and completed the Company Directors Course from the AICD and the Effective Director Course from Governance Institute.

Catherine MaxwellConnect

 

Catherine Maxwell FGIA
General Manager, Policy & Advocacy

Catherine’s team is responsible for policy, advocacy and advising on media and government relations. Her background includes roles as a senior manager at APRA and as secretariat for the revision of the ASX Corporate Governance Council’s Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations, 2e. She also held policy and governance roles at the AICD and the Financial Services Council.

Catherine holds degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Sydney and worked as a lawyer in Sydney and Hong Kong for ten years. Catherine was previously company secretary at The Cancer Council NSW.

Mark WilbournConnect

Mark Wilbourn
General Manager, Education

Mark joined Governance Institute following a career in health education in universities in the United Kingdom and Australia. The education team supports Governance Institute’s objective of being the leading provider of accredited postgraduate education in governance practice. Governance Institute offers graduate certificates/ diplomas in governance and risk management.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) (Biology) from the University of Portsmouth, a Certificate in Education: Post 16 from Sheffield Hallam University, and a Master of Science (Interprofessional Health and Social Care) from Canterbury Christ Church University. Mark is also undertaking a PhD at Western Sydney University.

Susan Bradbrook
State Manager, SA, NT & TAS

Susan is Fellow of the National Institute of Accountants. She has previously held positions of accountant, state administration manager and in customer relations/ marketing.

Susan is on the board of CARA (Community Accommodation and Respite Agency) which is one of South Australia’s largest charities working in partnership with people living with a disability, their families and the community to create a better life.

Andrew has over 15 years of experience within the healthcare, governance and technology sectors— bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in leadership roles.

Within this time, Andrew had national management of a remote account management/business development team within the insurance and professional indemnity sector, as well roles within the medical devices market segment. He's a strong sales professional with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science from University of Sydney.

Leanne Ryan
National Manager, Service Delivery
State Manager, QLD

Leanne has over 25 years of business experience and effective leadership after holding senior operations and business development roles in the healthcare, health technology and aged care sectors in the Asia Pacific region.

Leanne is passionate about creating superior customer experiences and is skilled in developing operational infrastructures to accommodate business growth. Leanne also has a background in education.

 Jack RosagroConnect

Jack Rosagro
State Manager, WA

Prior to joining Governance Institute, Jack worked as an account manager at Advanced Share Registry and Computershare. His previous roles have been in stockbroking and compliance.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Curtin University. He is an Associate member of Governance Institute and completed the Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance..
